# Buying more credits

Running low before the month is over, or planning a burst of AI room generation? Admins can add credits in two ways from the Plan & Billing page — a one-time pack paid now, or a permanent raise of the credits included in your plan. There are also a couple of ways to earn free credits.

## Option 1 — One-time top-up

*Paid now, added to your balance.*

One-time credits cost more per credit than your subscription rate, and get cheaper the bigger the pack. The dialog shows **Current balance → Adding → New balance**, then **Continue to payment** opens a secure Stripe checkout. Credits land on your balance as soon as the payment is confirmed (*"Payment successful — 5,000 credits added to your balance."*).

## Option 2 — Add to subscription

*Permanently raise your plan's credits per user.*

- Blocks of **+100 credits per user per month** for **€20 per block** (that's €0.20 per credit — your cheapest rate), up to **650 credits per user** in total.
- The dialog shows the change per user (*150 → 250 / user / mo*), the total across your seats, and the new recurring cost.
- Because it changes a committed term of your contract, confirming opens **Sign your credits addendum**: review the change, click **Review & sign**, sign electronically, and it applies immediately (*"Your plan now includes 250 AI credits per user per month."*). The addendum is co-terminous with your term and listed on your order.
- If your subscription isn't active yet, there's no addendum: the raise folds into your pending order, which you sign at activation.

Choose this when your team's monthly use is **consistently** above the included 150 per user.

## Option 3 — Free credits

Every member sees **Get free credits** (gift icon) in the left sidebar until the actions are done:

Click the action, complete it in the tab that opens, then confirm (**I've left my review** / **I've followed the page**). The row shows **Pending review**; the Katalyz team checks it and adds the credits to your workspace shortly after.

## Tracking what you have

The **AI Credits** card shows your **Available balance** and every grant with a badge: **Plan** (*Included with your plan · 150 / user*), **Recurring** (subscription add-on), **One-time** (packs, free credits, manual grants). For a quick check without leaving your work, the **AI side panel** shows how much of the monthly allowance is left.
