Language & formats

Katalyz adapts to how you read and write — your preferred language, and how you expect dates, times, and numbers to be displayed.

Access language settings

Open your profile settings and go to the Language & formats section. You'll find two groups: Langue (language picker) and Format (date / time / number format pickers).

Language

Set the Katalyz interface language for your account. Two options today:

• English
• Français

More languages will land over time.

This affects:

• Navigation, buttons, menus, and UI copy
• System-generated emails sent to you
• AI-assisted content written for you (if language-aware)

It does not affect:

• Room content (those languages are set per-room)
• Notifications sent to buyers (those use the buyer's room language)
• Other teammates' UI (each user sets their own)

Date format

Pick how dates are displayed across Katalyz:

Pick what your team expects. If you collaborate internationally, the ISO format (YYYY-MM-DD) is often the clearest.

Time format

• 12-hour (2:30 PM)
• 24-hour (14:30)

Number format

Two options today:

• 1,000.00 — US
• 1 000,00 — Français

Affects display of currency amounts, custom properties of type Number and Currency, and activity metrics.

These settings are per-user

Each member sets their own language and formats. Your choices don't affect teammates.

What about room language?

Rooms have their own language setting, managed by the room's Owner or Editor. The room language affects:

• Buyer-facing copy (CTAs, system messages)
• Invitation emails sent to buyers
• Default notification language for buyer recipients
