Changing your plan

With a single plan there is no "upgrade" or "downgrade". What you can change is your commitment, your seats, your credits and your modules — and, past 30 users, whether you move to Enterprise. Your subscription is managed by contract with Katalyz, so some changes are self-serve and others go through your account manager.

⚠️ Requires org role Admin. Everything below happens in Settings → Workspace → Plan & Billing.

What goes through our team

Adding a module

In the Modules section, a module you don't have shows Request to add. Click it to contact sales: modules are contract-managed, so nothing changes until a new order (or addendum) is signed. Once added, the card shows Included. See Modules.

Changing your commitment

Moving from 12 to 24 or 36 months, or switching from monthly billing to annual upfront, changes your per-user price on the commitment scale. Ask your account manager; the new term starts with a new order form.

Moving to Enterprise

Above 30 users, or for custom terms, the page notes: "Need more than 30 users or a tailored setup? Talk to your Katalyz account manager about Enterprise." Enterprise contracts have a flat annual amount that doesn't move with the seat count.

Reducing seats or cancelling

Seats are committed for the term. Reductions apply at renewal, subject to your notice period — see Cancelling your subscription.

Before activation

While your subscription is Pending activation (order not yet signed and paid), seat and credit changes simply update the pending order. If you had already signed, the order goes back to unsigned so you re-sign the updated version.

Addenda

Changes to a live contract that aren't pre-authorised — raising credits per user, or adding seats when your order has no expansion clause — are recorded as a signed addendum, co-terminous with your term. Signed addenda appear on your order document.
