Using library items in a room
The library is only useful if your reps actually pull from it. Here's how to drop library content into a room.
Insert a library item
- Open a room and scroll to the section where you want the content.
- Drag a widget from the floating build bar at the bottom of the editor onto your page.
- In the widget picker, choose the matching widget type (Document, Video, Link, Image, etc.).
- Click From library at the top of the widget configuration panel.
- Search or filter by tag / type to find your item.
- Click to insert.

Ce qui est inséré
What gets inserted
The library item is copied into your room. That means:
- The room gets its own independent version of the asset
- Editing the item in the library later does not update this room
- Editing the widget in this room does not update the library
This is important to understand: the library is a starter content source, not a live-synced system.
Why copy-only (and not linked references)?
Copies give you:
- Stability — a room you sent last month won't suddenly change because someone updated the library
- Flexibility — you can customize the inserted content for this specific deal without affecting the library version
- Predictability — what you see in the room editor is exactly what your buyer will see
The tradeoff: if you need to update content across all your live rooms, you'd have to go room by room. See Keeping library content up to date for the recommended workflow.
Finding items quickly
Two ways to narrow down what you're looking for:
- Search — type in the search bar at the top (matches item names)
- Tag filter — check one or more tags in the sidebar to show only matching items
Combine them: search "Acme" + tag "Case study" narrows the library instantly.
Can I use the same library item in multiple rooms?
Yes — and that's the whole point. Library items are reusable. You're just adding a fresh copy each time. No limit on how many rooms can reuse the same asset.
Can buyers see that an item came from the library?
No. Buyers see fully rendered content with no indication of where it came from.
