Opening the Activity tab

Every room has an Activity tab — your single dashboard for who visited, what they viewed, what they engaged with, and how the deal is trending. It's where you turn raw signals into "what should I do next?".

Open Activity

Inside a room, click the Activity tab. It opens a multi-section dashboard that combines high-level KPIs, a deal overview, an activity-over-time chart, per-page and per-resource breakdowns, and a chronological activity feed.

What's on the Activity page

KPI cards (top)

Four high-level numbers, each with a trend indicator (vs. previous period):

  • Total visitors — distinct people who opened the room
  • Page views — total page loads inside the room
  • Avg. time — average time spent per visit
  • Comments — total comments posted across the room

Deal overview

  • Health score — a 0–100 gauge with zones (e.g. "Quiet zone", "Active", "Hot") summarizing how engaged the deal is. Useful as a single number to track in pipeline reviews.
  • Executive summary — an AI-generated narrative summary describing the deal: current stage, key stakeholders, signals of engagement, probability of closing, expected closing window.

⚠️ Health score and Executive summary require the AI feature to be activated for the workspace.

  • Generation costs 1 credit each the first time they're produced.
  • Once activated, both are automatically refreshed every night at no additional credit cost.

See [Katalyz Intelligence](→ 07-plans-billing/03-add-on-modules/03-katalyz-intelligence) for the AI feature.

Activity level (chart)

A line chart of activity volume over time. Hover any point to see total activities on that day, broken down per user. Useful for spotting peaks (after sending the room, after a meeting, after a follow-up) and dry spells.

Page performance by user

A radar chart showing how much time each user spent on each page of the room — one petal per page, one color per user. Quickly reveals which sections actually got attention from which buyers.

Resources views

A table of every resource (PDF, doc, etc.) embedded in the room with:

  • Resource name
  • Type (PDF, Image, Video, Link, …)
  • Views — total views across all visitors
  • Visitors — avatars of who viewed it (hover to see a per-person view count)
  • Trend — % change vs. previous period

Use this to see which materials buyers actually consumed — the contract? the case study? the demo recording?

Activity feed

A chronological feed of every event in the room — logins, action edits, due-date changes, completions, comments, descriptions added, etc. Each entry shows:

  • The actor's avatar
  • A short description ("Thomas Ebrard validated a step", "edited the due date of an action: 22/04 → 28/04")
  • The location (which page / section / action / discussion the event happened in)
  • The date

Grouped by day for easy scanning.

Who can see Activity

Seeing the Activity tab requires being an org member with a write room role:

  • Org role: any (Admin / Pro / Basic) — what matters is being an org member.
  • Room role: Owner or Editor. Viewers don't see the Activity tab.
  • External participants (sometimes called "buyers") are not org members and never see Activity.

This is intentional: the Activity tab is for your team. Your buyer doesn't see how closely you're watching their movements — that would be uncomfortable.

Activity vs. Intelligence

  • Activity — the dashboard above. Raw events, KPIs, charts. Available on every plan.
  • Intelligence (AI) — adds the Health score and Executive summary at the top of the Deal overview. Activated per workspace, 1 credit per generation, auto-refreshed nightly. See [Katalyz Intelligence](→ 07-plans-billing/03-add-on-modules/03-katalyz-intelligence).
