Creating rooms
Duplicating a room
Duplicating an existing room is useful when a specific deal is a close analog of a new one — same structure, similar pricing, similar pitch. Duplicate a room Open the room you want to duplicate. Click the room menu (three dots, top-left). Select Duplicate. Optionally rename the copy. Click Create. A new room is created as a full copy, with you as Owner. Structuring a room
How rooms are organized
Every Katalyz room follows the same four-layer structure: room → pages → sections → widgets. Room The top-level container. It has: A title (visible to buyers) Logos (two of them): Seller logo — pulled from your workspace's Brand assets (set once by an admin; can't be overridden per room) Prospect logo — set per room from the Design tab → Header → Prospect logo (search a brand via Brandfetch or upload manually). Here's how to add, reorder, rename, and delete both pages and sections in a room. Quick recap: a room contains pages (top-level, shown in the header), each page contains sections (visual groupings), each section contains widgets. Widgets are the pieces of content that fill a section — text, image, video, CTA, signature, meeting, etc. (Sometimes called "blocks" in other tools — in Katalyz they're widgets.) The page cover is a full-width banner that sits at the top of a page, above all sections. It's the first thing buyers see when they open the page — use it to anchor identity (logos + title), set the tone, or spotlight a key message. Not a widget. Unlike content widgets (Text, Image, Video, etc.), the cover is a page-level element — there's one cover per page, managed from the page itself rather than from the floating build bar's widget catalog. Widgets — content & storytelling
Introduction to widgets
Widgets are the building blocks of every Katalyz room. Each widget does one thing well — display text, embed a video, collect a signature, attach a meeting — and is designed to look right out of the box with your branding applied.
